Ricky Ingram

Ricky Ingram is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, serving multiple deployments to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan between 2006–2007 and 2010.

He enlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard in October 1986 and served in both Active and Reserve capacities until his retirement in May 2017. In 1989, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Aviation Branch through the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. His military career spanned more than 30 years, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

In addition to his combat deployments, Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Ingram held several significant assignments, including service on the Department of the Army Staff, G-3/5/7 (Operations, Plans, Training, and Exercises) at the Pentagon. He also served as an Army and Joint Forces Aviation Operations Officer at Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Scott Air Force Base, Illinois; and Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Following his military retirement, Ingram relocated to Barstow, California, where he continues his commitment to military service as a civilian Safety Professional at the National Training Center (NTC), Fort Irwin. In this role, he advises commanders on risk management and safety programs designed to safeguard Soldiers, preserve combat power, and maintain force readiness.

Ricky became a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in November 2025 and was elected to serve as Post Trustee for the 2026–2029 term.
